Kevin Hunter called the cops to the couples’ New Jersey home the same day he was ejected from his role on The Wendy Williams Show
According to audio dispatch obtained by The Blast, Kevin Hunter called the authorities because media vans and reporters were outside of their New Jersey home.

In the short 30-second recording, we can hear dispatchers reporting the situation, stating “the resident says there’s a news van outside of his home that ‘won’t leave him alone.’
When the police showed up, they spoke to Hunter and the media – reminding them to stay off the Livingston property.
The media flocked to the estranged couple’s home the same day Hunter was ejected from The Wendy Williams Show as the executive producer, according to The Blast.
As we recalled before, Hunter is looking for a huge severance package in the divorce due to his business dealings with Williams during the course of their long partnership.
Hunter has held the position of executive producer since the TV show’s debut in 2008. The pair also established a production company together, Wendy Williams Productions.
When the pair first launched the company Williams was thrilled to bring her creativity to life.
“This is a dream come true,” Williams told The Hollywood Reporter. “Kevin and I have been kicking around so many ideas and are excited to be able to now bring them to life with our own production shingle. As anyone who watches my show knows, I am a huge fan of all reality and game shows, and I know a thing or two about talking. Lisa has spent a career creating and producing the kind of television shows I love, and we are thrilled to have her guide our development efforts. We don’t plan on wasting much time, so stay tuned for some must-see programming ahead.”
Williams filed for divorce early in April after Hunter reportedly got his mistress pregnant.
Hunter’s personal rep sent a statement to PEOPLE magazine saying, “Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy, and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.”
Last week, Hunter spoke about the couple’s split after two decades of partnership, revealing he was “not proud of my recent actions.”
His statement to PEOPLE continued: “I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs,” he said. “No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family, and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”
