‘Drinking Disinfectant Doesn’t Cure Coronavirus!’ Calls Pour Into Hotlines After Trump’s Comments
Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan revealed in an interview that his state has received “hundreds of calls” about whether they should ingest disinfectant after hearing President Donald Trump suggested they may be able to wipe the virus out “in a day.”
The governor said it’s imperative that Donald Trump “really get the facts out there” in a time of uncertainty, panic and stress.
“In these press conferences that we really get the facts out there, and unfortunately some of the messaging has not been great, the mixed messaging,” he told “Face the Nation.”
Just a few days ago, Trump was ridiculing Gov. Hogan for his critics about the federal response.

[VIDEO] Lysol Releases Statement Rebutting Trump’s Crazy Statement!
The manufacturer of Lysol and Dettol issued a statement warning people not to use their disinfectant and cleaning products for internal use after Trump suggested that “the disinfectant that knocks (the coronavirus) out in a minute.”
The Spokesperson for the owner of Lysol, Reckitt Benckiser stated to NBC News: “As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion, or any other route).”
