Marjorie Harvey could have an unfavorable aspect of her past exposed in an upcoming tell-all book by her ex-husband.
Marjorie Harvey’s ex-husband, Jim Townsend is reportedly writing a book describing their life and business affairs, according to Radar Online. Harvey and Townsend were married during the 1990s, and the DEA and FBI investigated the then-couple for alleged drug distribution in c.
Townsend was arrested in 1992, after attempting to buy 40 kilos of cocaine. He was sentenced to life in prison, but Harvey, who was pregnant at the time, was not charged.
Townsend told The Enquirer that he was pressured by the feds to cooperate with their investigation. He says they had “substantial evidence” against Majorie and said she would be arrested if he didn’t play ball. Majorie was eight months pregnant with their second child at the time, and he feared that their 5-year-old daughter would be left without a mother if he didn’t cop a plea deal.
Townsend was released from prison in 2017, after being pardoned by President Barack Obama.
According to Radar Online, Townsend wrote the most of his tell-all-book while locked-up and will reveal details that could tarnish his ex-wife’s public image.
As you may have heard, Marjorie and Steve Harvey have been facing rumors of divorce after Steve sold four of his homes in Texas. On May 4th, the couple posted a video to nip those rumors in the bud. See the video below:

[VIDEO] ‘Deeply Heartfelt’: Whitney Houston’s Lover & Long-Time Friend Set To Release Tell-All Book
A recent press release promises that Robyn Crawford’s book about her relationship with the late Whitney Houston will be “deeply personal and heartfelt.”
Whitney Houston’s relationship with long-time friend Robyn Crawford will finally be explored by “the person that knew her best,” Robyn Crawford, in the book A Song for You: My Life With Whitney Houston.
Over the last few years, close friends, business partners, and even Bobbi Brown have confirmed the relationship Houston had with long-time friend Crawford.
In an interview with US Weekly in 2016, Brown confirmed that the singer was bisexual and did have an intimate relationship. He even believes Crawford could have saved her life.
“I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney’s life, Whitney would still be alive today,” Brown told the magazine. “She didn’t have close friends with her anymore.”
Audiences also got a chance to see the late singer reflect on her relationship with Crawford in the documentary Whitney. “I was 16, and we were working at summer jobs, and I remember thinking, ‘Wow, this is really going to be a trip this summer — I don’t have any friends,” Whitney remembered. “And then here comes Robyn with this beautiful, beautiful afro. She was tall and very statuesque, and I was like, ‘Wow man.’ She stood up for me. I remember thinking I’ve known this person seems like all my life.”
Houston was unable to fully be her authentic self, however, because Houston believed her mother, Cissy Houston would never accept her bisexuality.
Crawford went from friend to creative director. The whole while, playing protector to the budding singer.
“I hope the film expresses what I think is the truth,” said Whitney director Kevin Macdonald, “that they were romantically involved. As a teen, Whitney ran from her mother’s house into the arms of Robyn.”
A press release said the book would give readers “insight into Whitney’s life and career.”
“With warmth, candor, and an impressive recall of detail, Robyn gives readers insight into Whitney’s life and career. She traces the years from when she and Whitney first met as teenagers in the 1980s to the recording of Whitney’s first album and the infinite success that followed. From countless sold-out world tours to her epic rendition of the US national anthem to the set of The Bodyguard, her tempestuous marriage, and the birth of her only child, Robyn was there.”
The release continued: “Since Whitney’s death in 2012, that trusted and loyal friend, Robyn Crawford, has stayed out of the limelight and held the great joys, wild adventures, and hard truths of her life with Whitney close to her heart. In A Song for You, Robyn breaks her silence to share the moving and often complicated story of her life and relationship with Whitney.
“Deeply personal and heartfelt, A Song for You is the vital, honest, and previously untold story that provides an understanding of the complex life of Whitney Houston. Finally, the person who knew her best sets the record straight.”
A Song for You: My Life With Whitney Houston is set to release in November 2019.
