A Woman Wants A Man To Care If She’s Okay, By Michael Baisden
Every woman wants a man in her life who cares about how she’s doing, if she’s okay, if she’s safe. The need to feel secure is a basic female instinct that will never change regardless of ever-changing relationship dynamics.
When a man stops checking up on you, stops asking you to call or text to let him know you made it home okay, he’s not into you. A real man is concerned about his woman’s welfare and well-being. And he’ll make sure she knows he’s available to solve a problem or answer a question that requires a man’s perspective! As I’ve always said, the three most powerful words a man can speak to a woman is, “I Got It!” Or “I Got You!”
And a man needs to feel needed in order for his mindset to be that of protecting and providing! Even if a woman has it “going on” and she doesn’t literally need a man, it would be wise to make him feel needed! Let the brotha open a tight jar or kill something! lol It’s only when a man feels your femininity and vulnerability that his innate instinct to make sure you’re okay…kicks in.
Too many women have taken the tenderness and submissiveness out of the relationship equation and expect the outcome of the man’s action to be the same. That’s just unrealistic. It’s in our nature to protect but not when we’re not appreciated or when a woman’s independence diminishes her feminine energy.
Now, I know some women will say, “I’m not going to submit to just any fool!” And I would never insult intelligent women by asking them to give leadership to just anyone, remember, I’m talking about the man YOU chose!
I know it’s easy to stereotype all men as no-good womanizers, I’ve read many of your responses to my commentaries, but what about the good men? Are you the kind of woman that a good man…a strong man would care about whether or not you’re okay?
Yes, you can take care of yourself. Yes, you can make your own decisions, and yes, you can protect yourself, the question is do you want that responsibility ALL the time.
