It's my first Blog post. Wow ! It is very empowering to have a stage in which the world can read your thoughts. It's almost to much power for one individual to have. Technology is an amazing thing. Words are also very powerful.

Isaiah talks about the power of God's words.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Jesus talks about how we use words in Luke and Matthew

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

So you have the opportunity to say something to the world. What do you say? What do you encourage your children to say. Please let them know there is power in their words. Kids feel like they don't have a voice but they do. Technology allows them to use it differently then when I was growing up. As slaves learned words, they taught those words to others. Teach the young ones with the a pure heart to read, write and express themselves. Be open to and listen for God's words. Search your heart before you use words...especially when the world is reading them.
