What needs to be done to strengthen Black America?

We need to re strengthen communities, Instead of neighborhoods, We need to be down for each other, check the kids help raise them, remind them to behave like children of decent people. Let them know if no one else is watching You are!!!! And you will continue to! You see them litter have them pick it up and walk them to a trash can. Explain to them kindly and gently ... Remind them they are more than saggy pants, and loud and boisterous behavior. You will be amazed with the glow in the eyes and hearts. and YOURS! Penwah

WHAT PEOPLE SEEMS TO FORGET IS THAT...THE BLACK RACE IS NOT THE ONLY RACE THAT HATES ON EACH OTHER ...THEIR IS OTHER RACES OF PEOPLE THAT DOES THE SAME..IT IS JUST THE BLACK RACE IS A CRUTCH FOR OTHER RACES TO PICK OFF AND USE AS AN EXAMPLE FOR THEIR MEANS...............REGARDLESS OF THE ISSUE........AND INGNORE THE THINGS THAT HAPPENS IN THEIR ON RACE EVERY DAY...THEIR RACE OF PEOPLE IS DOING THE SAME THINGS ...IF NOT WORST.....

YOU DON'T HEAR ABOUT IT TO MUCH AT ALL...ITS THE BLACK RACES THATS ON BLAST ALL OVER THE MEDIA TV....
I BY NO MEANS ..GIVE NO EXCUSE FOR THE THINGS THAT HAS HAPPEN IN THE BLACK RACE...AND YES THEIR SHOULD BE MORE COMIN TOGETHER IN EVERY ASPECT.....

I DO AGREE.................WITH THIS STATEMENT...
Greater sense of community, sense of self, accountability, motivation, dedication, and positivity!

I AGREE WITH THIS STATMENT........
Our entire culture to date is tied to negativity, promiscuity, swagger, and material greed.

BUT THERE ARE................
OTHER RACES OF PEOPLE THAT DOES THE SAME THING ...THEY JUST HAVE MORE TO WORK WITH...AND MORE AVENUES TO GET THIS DONE....SOME BLACK FOLKS HAVE BRICK WALLS AND BARRIERS IN THEIR WAY.........BUT THOSE BLACK PEOPLE THAT CAN DO SOME ABOUT IT...... BY ALL MEANS DO SO..............AND LET THOSE THAT HAVE LESS INFLUENCE .....HELP IN ANYWAY THEY CAN..............TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE CAUSE AND AFFORDS TO MAKE THIS WORK....

SO THE PROBLEM IS .......WHAT I SEE.... GETTING OVER THE BRICK WALLS AND BARRIES THATS SET UP TO CONTINUE TO FAIL AT EVERY EFFORT THAT BLACK PEOPLE DO...................... AND GET PAST THOSE AVENUES THATS IN THE WAY....

WHEN ITS ALL SAID AND DONE WETHER ...PEOPLE WANTS TO SEE IT OR NOT ....THOSE BARRIERS IS GOING TO BE THEIR UNTIL....WHITE PEOPLE GET A BETTER MIND SET WITH OTHER RACES OF PEOPLE AND STOP BLOCKIN....

Simple: stop the internal hatred. We hate hard on each other, then can't believe we don't progress as a culture. Our entire culture to date is tied to negativity, promiscuity, swagger, and material greed. That's some nasty gumbo when you mix it together.

WE NEED PRAYER, LOVE AND CAREING HEARTS, AND TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF OUR CHILDREN AND STRESS EDUCATION TO THEM SUPPORT THE ELDERLY AND ENJOY LIFE IN A POSITIVE WAY

First thing we must do is get rid of the term "black america" that label automatically makes you feel like an outsider or second class and if thats the way you view yourself then don't expect to be treated any different by others, the strengthening part is an indivisual responsibilty, next you must understand we are not n****** or n***** we are people of African descent, strong men and women who survived the slave trade, educated themselves even though it was prohibited and following slavery, built their own communities and businesses on their own without a handout from anyone, education is still free in this country and i haven't seen any signs anywhere saying no blacks allowed, the problems in our majority black communities can only be fixed by the people who live there stop expecting someone to come in and fix what you caused, the drugs may come in but that dosen't mean you have to take or sell them, men and women stop having babies you know you can't take care of, fix your credit and your finances clean up around your homes, drugs and crime only remain where it's allowed, if you dont report it you enable it

I agree with lioness because the second thing we need to do is rebuild the education system. Street cred and street smarts will not make into the boardroom. Academics are an important Part of the eqation I give you three examples Malcom X Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama.

in order to strengthen black america, we first must go back and strengthen the BLACK family. how can we defend ourselves when we sometimes create and perpetuate how white america treat and see us. mothers and fathers need to stand up and be mothers and fathers.

I agree.. we need more unity and respect for one another. Being able to show love toward one another without bickering and fighting. And most importantly putting selfishness aside for once.
