Vanity Or Insanity???

Peace & Love to all my peoples in the Diaspora, I have often heard people say that the supreme being deity, wants us to do this, or live that way; in order to be allowed into his heaven. I know that many people who identify with religion, believe wholeheartedly in the stories of their various bibles and korans,talmuds and other so-called 'holy' scriptures. I just thought I'd add on a little science to the mix. The picture you see here is of a Star Nursery. In these vast quadrants of space, a galaxy is born every minute. The dying stars or supernova are billions of years nay,billions of light years in their deaths and we see them as twinkling stars as they extinguish themselves in massive cosmic explosions. Sometimes taking the orbiting satellite planets with them. It is the height of vanity to expect that we human beings existing in this twenty-first century timeline will still be here when the end of this particular galaxy is at hand. This galaxy is at least four and a half billion years in the making and none of the human beings currently in existence will be living at the time of its' demise. To think that you are somehow going to be alive and kicking when it comes to it's end is ludicrous, vain in the extreme and for all intents and purposes insane. The oldest biblicly recorded living human being was Methusala at a paltry nine hundred and ninety-nine years. For a human being, currently alive to still be alive at the sun's end , he would have to be immortal. In which case he probably doesn't believe in the events as described in the revelations of John as he dreamt them on the isle of Patmos two thousand years ago.
