It's a shame that a man would get more time for abusing dogs, but may get one night max for abusing women. If those dogs were women instead of dogs, vicks would be called a successful promoter. And he would surely have his own show by now called "cat fight for vicks". Vicks was cheated out of 23 months of his life.

Glad to see the NFL league and Philly giving Mr. Vick another chance, The man sevred the time he ws given, I say live and let live. Let God be the judge. We all would appreciate a second chance, as many times we done f---ked up in this thing called life.

That was very extreme. The police could have taken the knife out her hand without the abuse.The elderly lady looked fragile and weak. The cops are'nt any better than the people their taken to jail. The elderly lady may have a medical condition and dont know her own children. Because of her age dat bs was worse than Rodney King

When a police officer cannot handle individual better and they cannot protect the suspect from become a victim then the police officer(s) should not be on the force. People are not safe from the police. The fear is that because technology will display more instances of police misconduct and lead to more distrust could and will encourage actual civialian vs police confrontations. I think it is on!!!!!!!!!!

I was about to cry watching the video of the Great Grandma. I had to stop it half-way through. She obviously needed psychiatric care if she had already hurt herself. No one deserves to be treated like this....nobody!

all i have to say is that the police are not trianed to subdud anyone anymore they trianed to kill frist ask qustion later. if you can,t handle and old lady with a knife you don,t need to be a cop.they carry billycubs anymore.

That was the most disgusting video I have seen in a long time. Ican't believe a female officer actually slammed that woman to the ground. How much force would it have taken to take the knife from the lady. With that said, why didn't one of the blacks who were out there before the police came get the woman to give up the knife. Come on people - some stuff we allow whites to do to us. Let's take our rights back.

The problem is not that it was a white woman subduing a black woman the problem is that her daughter left her in the car alone. This could have been much worse. I remember back in 98 or 99 a homeless woman was shot by the LAPD after they said that she tried to jump over a shopping cart to stab them with a screwdriver. They did what they thought would cause the least amount of injuries to an elderly woman who looks at the most confused. I bet there are people who are going to chew me out and say "what if that was your momma"? well i would have to say i would be angry that she was left alone in a situation that she should have never been in. I would say that a broken hand and cuts on an eighty year old's head is not as bad as say multiple gunshot wounds and ending up in the grave or on a respirator probably never to leave the hospital.
