Do black men dislike black women?

I did not think that in 2009 this was still an issue, but I hear the concern in your post. You are beautiful as GOD made you. You are unique and here for HIS purpose for your life. When you get "there" you will be the right person, with the right look, with the right experiences, with the right talents to get whatever it is done. Look outside of yourself and what is wrong with other people who don't see your beauty and just remember no one here made them self we all got what we got. The trick is making what you got work for you. Have a good one.

Yo, now I'ma be real. I like this blog topic. But you know what, I always preferred dark to brown sisters. That's just what it was always for me and one of my close brothers growing up. I mean, I guess it runs in my family. Now I never was no discriminating dude, but that has always been my preference. One day, while walking on campus with one of my boys while in college, this knowing rose up in me. And at that moment, i told my boy that without a doubt I was going to marry a brown skin Leo. About a month later I met my wife in class.

My dream came true.

So, I definitely feel you, it can seem that brothers do go after other women of different cultural background but to be honest I know pleenty of brothers who like them some brown to dark sisters(self included, though retired from the hunt)

Al, there's no harm in dating who you like, but there is harm in generalizing an entire group of people in an effort to justify your choices.

I don't care who dates who. However, I feel that men who exclusively date outside of their race have issues. I especially dislike the need to put one group of women down as opposed to recognizing their own flaws or hang-ups. I do not look at every black man as a possible prospect of mine, cause Lord knows that's not true. It's all about compatability. Don't focus on the fact that these men are with women who are not black. Look at it as those are men who've missed out on you. Whatever you do, just don't channel the negative energy...it's not worth it.

Give it time, and don't rush it the right man will come along.

I Love my black women but I have found that the black woman dont like ME!! Thats why I date outside my race. and to be honest, there is no harm in that.
