"God of Choice"

January 9, 2007, early AM, my God said to me:

“Verily, verily I say unto thee

Come, sit in sanctuary with Me

For it is there you’ll hear and see

All it is, preceding all it could be”

Choosing a God for emulation could present a challenge having so many religions to choose from. Each appears to have its own God, with its own human rules and regulations.

Believing there is a God is the first challenge. The second and greatest challenge is defining… Continue

Is Anybody Feeling the Heat?

I knew what I would be up against once I decided to wear my Barack pins and placed his stickers on the back of my car. Immediately, other professors began putting political trash in the mailboxes, posting derogatory information about Barack on the bulletin boards, and even stopped speaking to me. I was even okay with that because I walked in each day with a sense of confidence and awaited the opportunity for someone to engage me in political discourse, but it never happened. Instead, other… Continue

McCain and the 527 groups are emptying the bank and going into debt this weekend....FEAR, the final solution

I have been home all of 1 hour and I've seen about 10 McCain Ads not speaking about the economy or getting out of IRAQ or solving any of America's social ills, it was all about Obama.

The background music on the commercial was so ominous my daughter said "dad why does that music sound like that, is something scary about to happen"? How telling is that, a commercial was so full of FEAR even my 6 year old daughter picked up on it, but I must say she is exceptional… Continue

WHAT IF THINGS WERE SWITCHED AROUND?

Obama/Biden vs McCain/Palin, what if things were switched

around?.....think about it.??

Would the country's collective point of view be

different????

Ponder the following:

What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the

stage, including a three month old infant and an unwed,

pregnant teenage daughter?

?

What if Barack Obama had finished fifth from the bottom of

his graduating class, like John McCain did, instead… Continue

John Castellucci: When the tables were turned on a terrorist

01:00 AM EDT on Friday, October 31, 2008

JOHN CASTELLUCCI

From William Ayers’s rap sheet after arrest at 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago

From the Internet

BEFORE HE BECAME a campaign issue, before John McCain called him an “old, washed-up terrorist,” I found Bill Ayers a source of fascination and awe.

He set off bombs and said he didn’t regret it. He rioted in the streets of Chicago and thumbed his nose at the authorities after the… Continue

Black Man, I'm Sorry

I come from a long line of struggling women. Women who worked long hours for little compensation, but still managed to raise their children despite gang infested neighborhoods and single parent households. The blood of the superhero black mom runs thickly through my veins. The ghost of the woman who never needed a man, and openly expressed it to her children lives in my soul. Somehow I became like the very woman who raised me and even the woman who raised her. I am now the woman who cries… Continue

overweight children

I agree our children have a weight problem and it's our fault as their parents, put the children first! I work very hard to keep my weight down by running marathons and no less than 25 miles a week and my 10 year old daughter sees this and she exercises with me. My daughter is the perfect weight she's very active with running, karate and dance, However all I hear from others is that she is small for her age, I HATE THAT! Our society is so use to seeing overweight children when they see a normal… Continue

Why Aren't Nooses Hate Crimes?

There should be a law against the use or possession of a noose. Hanging and intimidation are the only uses I know of for a noose. Let me know what you think!

Rogues on the Hill?

'Freezergate' is only the tip of the iceberg

Christian Bourge

Friday, October 31, 2008

Associated Press

Rep. William J. Jefferson, who has been charged with money laundering, was asked about "$90,000 in a freezer" during a taped interview with the Young America's Foundation.

OP-ED:

Being under criminal indictment typically dooms the re-election prospects for congressmen. But elections in Louisiana sometimes function under a different… Continue

From her bed where she spent the last weeks of her life, S.B. said she "always" had unprotected sex with Aziga, a former co-worker she dated for three months in the summer of 2001.

Obama’s Mini Documentary On Wednesday

This mini documentary was excellent.

It was well produced, and in addition to polish and production, the message was extremely clear and powerful to the point of bringing out so much emotion about those people who are suffering, until I had to fight back the tears, (being a man and all).

However, Barack Obama’s message in this production was clear, consistent, and powerful, as it has been since the inception of his… Continue
