What does the working black woman do when she can't find that person who is understanding enough to know that hard work is how she got where she is? I would love to meet a person that can deal with a busy work schedule, and still want to enjoy me. I run across bad guys who want me for what I have, and the good guys don't want me because of what I do. So how do you get what you want out of life and still get who you deserve in life?

"Music has the power to loosen the grip of obscure emotions. The enthusiasm of the heart express itself involuntarily in a burst of song... from immemorial times the inspiring effect of the invisible sound that moves all hearts, and draws them together, has mystified mankind."
-Norman
Her Power
Bear witness to the power
Of a woman's form and mind,
Often loving and uplifting,
Sometimes harmful and unkind.
Swaying hips...
The Wandering Eye
When I see you crane your neck
Admiring strangers’ shapes,
I yearn to pluck it out your head
And squash it like a grape…
Changing Lanes
The uneasiness that grips me
As I click on my blinker
Makes me pant and sweat and shiver,
Makes a doer of the thinker...
…and many more great poems.
