Music lovers around the world are raving about the new Independent Pop, R&B/Soul artist K-Rob on Pandora.Com, Jango.com, INDIE 104 and IRADIOLA. The “raves” continue with current airplay on major FM radio stations such as 92.1, WQQK, Nashville, Tenn, Power 94.3, WJTT, Chattanooga, Tenn, and The Michael Baisden Show. Forthcoming, are radio rotation placements at Huntsville, Ala., FM stations 103.1, WEUP and 103.5, WHWT.
As the nephew of the great Isley Brothers, also known as the “Next Generational Isley,” K-Rob continues to garner support for his energetic and soulful album, which features songs such as “2Nite,” “Again (Like the First Time),” “Golden Lady” and the retro club banger, “Lovers.” He remains passionate about his work that’s inspired by the Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Marvin Gaye. His vocal style has been compared to Howard Hewitt, Joe and Maxwell. Vocally, K-Rob’s falsetto notes remind you of a soft and sexy romance.
As K-Rob prepares to work on his next CD, he focuses on his musical gift and the uncles who have inspired him to do everything with much determination, hard work and style.
“I love music, and the legacy that my uncles have given me,” K-Rob said. My goal is to continue writing and performing expressive lyrics that will be filled with love, romance and scenes from everyday life. It’s important that I provide my fans and listeners with the best music that I have within.”
K-Rob has opened for R. Kelly and is looking forward to completing his second CD and sharing that from city-to-city during his future tours.
Keep your eyes open and your ears ready for K-Rob. He’s the up and coming artist that knows how to entertain his audience and provide a soulful and sexy sound, not only in English, but Spanish as well.

Michele in the ATL-A Must Have CD!!!
"This is “HOT”!!! It’s smooth and truly fantastic music to be this Artist’s first CD. Although K-Rob is definitely unique, his music style puts me in the mind of Donell Jones. This is a CD I just can’t put down. Every song is nice and the CD can be played the entire way through from beginning to end.
My favorite tracks are:
1. Again (Like the First Time)
2. Free
3. 2Nite

First Italian NuSoul Magazine, By Eddie Bug-K-Rob literally made Englishmen, Frenchmen, and the Japanese go crazy with his individual debut "2nite." His vocal style is reminiscent of Joe, Donell Jones and Usher. Kevin "K-Rob" Robertson presents with an energetic album, a mix of r' n' b and soul. "Life of the Party" is a midtempo nouveau riche dance featuring the rap of Big Boss. "Again (like the first time)" is a ballad in the style of Joe, while "Lovers" is a fine piece of r' n' b with an up-winning beat on a resonant carpet with a Keyboards stilosissime. K-Rob steps things up even more with his classy, smooth version of Stevie Wonder's "Golden Lady." "2nite" is a "hit" that has arrived. It is a piece sung with a striking and memorable melody, ideal for the dancefloor or for private pleasure. K-Rob closes his work with the Latin/rnb flavored "The Velvet Room" and a remix of "2nite" produced for the English market by Josef and Madhatter that give the piece an attractive stepper. K-Rob has the cards in rule to become a mainstream artist. He proves that he has the vocal range and capability along with the right mental prospective to allow for longevity and success!
Nashville, TN-A Woman's perspective on K-Rob, By Ma'at-"The deprived neosoul that I am I had never been to Lovenoise. My how I did love the noise that was made.... well for the most part. Some of the open mic acts were a mess to say the least, but the real entertainment for the night was definitely worth the price of admission. K-Rob and his band took the stage and proceeded to move the house. Not one to be easily won over by artists who do covers of songs that I love, I have to say that I was feeling his version of Maxwell's "Get to Know You." I must say that this brother is talented, and I can understand why he has found success in other parts of the world. Not many men still have the ability to make a sister want to throw her Vickie's at them on stage. Delight was my only emotion when he sang a few of his own tracks. This was K-Rob's moment of truth with me. After hearing his catchy yet soul infused tune "2nite" ( it kind of reminded me of some of Luther's newer stuff) I passed judgement. I'm feeling K-Rob and his sound; his voice is just the sort of thing to mellow out to after a long hard day (he's what I like to call bathtub music). I do see myself purchasing his album, putting it on my Ipod, possibly mixing in some of his tracks into my late night playlist. You can check out K-Rob for yourself on his MySpace page: www.myspace.com/kheights. You can also find more information about this artist at http://www.k-rob.us. Personally, I hope that he achieves American success and grows lyrically into what an artist of his caliber should be".
Nashville, TN, Nashville City Paper-Nashville Artist Hopes to Duplicate European Success at Home, By Ron Wynn-Nashville vocalist Kevin "K-Rob" Robertson has already developed a sizeable international following for his earnest, energetic brand of contemporary R&B. The single "2Nite" from his self-titled debut release has been a hit, featured on radio stations throughout England, France and Japan, and it's generated plenty of Internet buzz.
