K-NIX “Product of My Environment, Child of God!

Since the age of ten, Kevin Nixon honed his skills in music by playing percussion. This alone gave K-Nix an edge to create innovative drum patterns. He also developed his style of poetry at the tender age of 14. With his thorough understanding of basic poem structure, K-Nix has the gifted insight to write dope rhyme verses and patterns with the end result being magnificent. Once Kevin Nixon attended Ft. Valley State University, where he majored in audio/visual broadcasting, he knew that hip hop would be his calling.

Surrounded by studios and microphones, the broadcasting atmosphere nurtured his passion of music and hip hop to the fullest. Witnessing this gift grow, K-Nix began to turn his passion into his main squeeze. Hip Hop became his full-time job. He began to hit several studios in Georgia laying sixteen bars every time he entered the building.

As performances became consistent, K-Nix began collaborating with different artists on the scene spitting his lyrical flow with the best of them. This allowed Kevin to foster the ability to become a seasoned performer leaving the crowd feeling live and pumped up, and relaxed simultaneously. Many that know K-Nix may call his style “The Amaretto Flow”, in which he perfected.

Today, Kevin is more focused and clever as ever before. Now that he has the perfect conglomerate of artist in his cipher, the time is now for him to step up and become the mouthpiece for the grown, sexy, and responsible. The phrase “Product of my environment, Child of GOD” is a motto that reminds K-Nix to remember his ultimate goal in life. He is ready to entertain while sharing his talent with a positive purpose.

While residing in Alexandria VA, Kevin utilizes his artistic talent to speak on his experiences, past and present trials and tribulations, and his future outlooks. Some artists may see the world differently than others, and this is why he may be seen as an outcast and a renegade on society restraints. This mere fact is what makes K-Nix a “PRODUCT OF HIS ENVIRONMENT, AND A CHILD OF GOD!
