Urban Biz Directory

We have been through the times of depression, oppression, and racial segregation, and to be honest some of us are still experiencing all three; if not one, this very day; right down to the last second. So I ask why is it so hard for us to stand united; to support one another as a nation, a culture, a family.  Black people we have to do better, at some point someone has to stand up and yell loud and clear, “this in-house ethnicity warfare has got to come to an end!”, but I wonder will anyone take the time to stop and hear.  Why are we playing tug a war with each other?  Haven’t we been pulled on long enough, by every other race that GOD created? Through all of the beatings, the auctions and humiliation, we are still a race that continues to excel through it all, with full determination; except we lack the understanding of what type of power we could carry, if we supported one another; instead we give each other the cold shoulder, turn our heads, and give our hard earned money to another culture.  We rather support all other cultures and spend our money blindly to the other man, instead of building our own stores, banks, and communities, and really adhering to the phrase Black Power, United we Stand; it’s time for our own black enterprise, something that will make our children proud.  Aren’t you ready to build a legacy? To put you’re your name in the history books; Obama does not have to be the only black person with power; let’s stand up and make a change, and take back what was took; remember the black Wall Street?  Man that was really something to adore; having everything work in your favor; monopolizing the city; basically taking over the world; every member in your culture keeping the money in-house; Now you are seeing banks, stores, and schools on every corner with the money that the community made; not giving anyone else a single quarter. See, someone may look at this, and think that we are being racist, but I don’t see anyone burning crosses, or causing riots or screaming extremist when the Asians come and take over all the nail shops and hair places, or when the Arabians take over all of the convenient stores or car lots.  Half the time, they don’t even want you to touch their stuff, but they continue to fill their businesses with your money; the sweat and tears and long hours on the clock; they come over to the country that you and your ancestors have been enslaved in, yet you rather go spend your money with them, pay their kid’s college tuition, and help build their Fortune 500 companies…….then the cycle just starts all over again.  For those that read this and take it the wrong way, then you lack understanding and character; you’re going to continue to be lost and blind; walking aimlessly in the world, saying to yourself in the year 2037, “The time will come, things will finally change.  You just have to wait your turn; it’s not a black, white, or a race thang.”  Well, you are just going to be out stuck on your own; we do hope you get it, because we don’t want to leave you stranded, scared, or all alone.  So you see…….
Urban Biz Directory is all about making changes, empowering people, and promoting positive role models. We are introducing the new millennium Urban Wall Street; Leaders of the new tomorrow. When Urban Biz is brought to your attention, don’t drop your head, feel shy, and make your tone of voice sound low, on the fact that you don’t own your own business; you are missing the whole point, so let us elaborate some more; first and foremost it’s about unity; ethnicity supporting one another; introducing the world and different communities that you can, should, and go spend your money with black businesses in the local communities. It’s all about networking, leading people on a new route; when someone new comes in your salon to get that up-do or something simple like a wrap, and want to know where they can find the best food, or they wanted their care detailed out; you can point them to another member of the Urban Biz Directory map.  As the conversation spreads, and the news begins to broadcast, that Urban Biz Directory is serious, but this is just the beginning; it continues; it’s much more to us than that.  Each member or elder that is already established try taking a troubled youth by the hand; help lead them to reach that corporate ladder; teach them what was taught to you, instead of standing on the sideline, shaking your head with your hands on your hips; saying to yourself, where has this generation went! Remember the saying, it takes a village to raise a kid, well although it has left through the years, Urban Biz Directory would like to introduce it again. Let’s take away the stigma that society has put on our kids and the convicted felons, that just want something going for themselves; a new start; a new them; something to call their own; a new type of entrepreneurship; the chance to make themselves and their families trust and believe in them again. Every established member will lead a person to their field of work continuing to make the map grow; deleting the social stigma that black businesses won’t or can’t grow; that’s why we set ourselves with high standards, away from the norm; We want to see all of our community children succeed and excel; to be accepted to nothing but the best colleges; John Hopkins, Princeton, Harvard, and Yell.  So events that we sponsor will be more than your average talent shows and drop it low dances.  We are introducing annual academic triathlons, tutoring, community clean-ups, teaching our children how to conduct themselves; the proper dress without the fellows having their pants sagging or the young ladies with the v-neck shirts trying to impress or show their breasts; how to apply for those many hidden scholarships that the world may not want our children to know yet; We can’t waste our time having our children shouting and rhyming all of their favorite rap songs, but when it’s time to sit at that desk and take that FCAT, they have no knowledge of what was learned a few months back; If the city can march for Gay Rights, then we are going to have parades; walk-a-thons for diseases and health risks that affect the black race and their families directly, such as Sickle Cell, Hypertension, Diabetes, and HIV/AIDS; Urban Biz Directory wants and will strive to be the prime example in the urban community to the best of their ability, but it will be so much better, and so much easier, if we all made a stand and the entire Black Race held hands, stood up and said, “Urban Biz Directory……….Supporting Each Other Through Ethnicity!”

Cooperative Economics= black people supporting one-anther by keeping and spending our hard earned dollars in our community.

HERE IS A TESTIMONIAL FROM A MEMBER OF OUR NETWORK !Corey T WilliamsBrother, I want to thank you for having the vision to start the Urban Biz Directory. As a member, I can tell you that I have made more network connections in a few weeks than I have in 7 years of trying to get my television and film empire off the ground. Good lookin Bro, the pieces are coming together like Transformers and Gobots!

My dream is to bridge the gap between the ghettos of America and Corporate America. For too long, Corporate America has taken the styles and culture of the street life and turned it into a multi-million dollar business. From apparel (loose fit Levi's), to automobile designs(Chrysler), to entertainment(Vanilla Ice), wall street continues to generate billions of dollars in revenue off of the blood, sweat, and tears of those who created these ideas. They take our culture from us and then sell it back to us at a price that the average person can not afford. That is the driving force behind crime and oppression in the projects and run down ghettos that we live in today.
The mission of my corporation is to create our own Wall Street. I call it Urban Wall Street! We aim to create a new way of life for oppressed individuals through spiritual growth, education, business, and the adversities we face in our everyday lives. By monopolizing the Urban Market, the sky is the limit when it comes to success.
Urban Biz Directory is not only a directory for African American owned businesses, but also a tool to teach young black men and women how to start a business. A social economic network of minority owned companies will allow information on goods and services to be readily available for those who seek it. This will not only create jobs, but also change the lives of millions who live in despair. The directory is meant to be interactive. A major network of those who have overcome the odds and those seeking assitance with overcoming those same odds.

One of the ways people make a lot of money is by having the
vision to SEE FUTURE TRENDS BEFORE THEY HAPPEN.
Remember when bottled water came out?
Everyone laughed at it, but now almost everybody drinks bottled water.
Can you imaging how much money you would have made had
you been in position to capitalize on the explosive growth in
that industry from the very beginning?
If you get involved with Oxygen4Energy now, you will be in
position to capitalize on the growth of a product that is destined to
be the next dominant product in the health supplement industry.
If you can see the potential in the product, we have the
vehicle to take you where you want to go!
