Let me tell you about the “Tott Griffin Center For Non-Violence” (TGCFNV) I want to bring our program to your City.
Overview
TGCFNV Faith Based Non-Profit organization created to establish mentoring programs that offer a mixture of core services and engage youth with activities that enable them to practice healthy behaviors within a positive pro-social peer group. The target populations are youth at risk of gang activity, delinquency, and youth social and domestic violence and their families. This program helps develop and strengthen protective factors against gang involvement and other problem behaviors. It’s based in schools, churches and other community setting.
TGCFNV Vision
We are committed to teaching and advancing the kingdom through restorative Justice, rehabilitation and healing transformation, to prevent gang and domestic violence among
our youth and their families such as but not limited to verbal and physical abuse against women and others in our community.
Tott Griffin Center For Non-Violence (TGCFNV)
Offers Victims family Disaster Relief Services that responds immediately to a family that has suffered a violent disaster, which include death due to violence, The Tott Griffin Center For Non-Violence Response Team provides the family with relief that focuses on meeting families immediate emergency needs. We provide food for families and emergency workers, help them handle inquiries to concerned family members outside the disaster area, provide comfort products to those in need, help to access other available recourses assistance, such as funeral homes, pastors, missionaries, counselors, community services etc. In additions to these services we want to assist families to resume some type of normal daily activities independently as soon as possible.
Violent Disasters can strike quickly and without warning. It can force families to evacuate their homes, communities and their work place and school and confined them to an unfamiliar place. The Tott Griffin Center For Non-Violence wants to make our community safer to live in. Our goal include getting to community involve in cleaning our streets, planting trees, organizing food drives, educate the community to serve as mentors to peers to help the youth to obtained from substance abuse, teen pregnancy and aids prevention, environmental awareness, violence prevention and other major community issues.
