The Spiritual Significance of Christmas by Minister Gabree Amlak

In many ancient cultures midnight on December 24th was considered to be one of the most powerful times of the year. "The Night of the Feast of Light". It is during this phase of the earth's revolution that a transfer of energy from the sun to the center of the earth transforms the body of the planet and the bodies of all conscientious individuals who have prepared themselves through fasting and prayer.
As the electromagnetic vibrations of the sun contact and penetrate the core of Mother Nature's devitalized body, this planet and all receptive organisms are regenerated through the Creator's annual gift of high frequency solar energy.
The desire to give Christmas presents is recognized by awakened souls as the spirit's intuitive response to the gift of light we receive from the source of life. From a humanistic point of view, the Christmas story symbolizes that period in a person's life in which the understanding of his divine nature and destiny comes to birth in the manger of his soul.
It doesn't matter whether the awakening soul is responding to the teachings of Jesus, Muhammad, Krishna, or Buddha; the solar energy that enters the womb of the Earth during the "Christmas Season" revitalizes the spark of divinity within the heart of every "receptive" truth seeker. Spiritual nourishment recieved at this time eventually culminates in the spiritual maturity symbolized by the colorful decoration of the Christimas tree.
Trees, as explained in the language of religious symbolism, represent the nervous system infused with the light of the Holy Spirit, the human aura of energy field lights up like a Christmas tree.
From a symbolical point of view, the Christmas tree symbolizes the fruits of our spiritual endeavors. Lights on the tree represent the activation of spiritual centers that are presently dormant in the bodies of most people. The eight-pointed star on the top of the tree symbolizes a descending of the Holy Spirit upon the mind and body of the aspiring soul
In keeping with the definition of the word "Christ", a Christmas present should be something that contributes to the anointing of christening of the person to whom the gift is given.
The solar vibration so graciously bestowed upon us by the "Father of Lights" during this blessed season provides a perfect example of appropriate Christmas gifts. Is the present we are giving a gift of light that enhances spiritual awareness or is it something that increases spiritual darkness? Will the purposed gift inspire spiritual evolution or encourage carnal involution?
The best way to celebrate Christmas is to study the lives and teaching of the great souls who cultivated and manifested the divinity within themselves and pray for the strength and wisdom to incorporate the principles they taught into the fabric of our existence.
In the minds of the multitudes the beneficent influences of Christmas subside on December 26th. This belief limits their participation in a divinely intoxicating spiritual experience. The radiant light that permeates the earth on December 24th increases its effulgence within the body of every organism that receives its vibrations for the twelve days following Christmas; filling the hearts and minds of devoted spiritual aspirants with the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding symbolized by the three wise men. An effective spiritual discipline practiced by the ancient sages is to meditate upon a different biblical passage for each of the "Twelve Holy Days". If understood and celebrated in the appropriate fashion we will all, regardless of religious affiliation, have a massive experience of light-an inspirational and enlightening Christ-mass.
Sincerely, Minister Gabree Amlak

If such an "important" christian holiday could be a complete fabircation, one must ask themselves what esle has been made up????? As a Muslim I too believe that Isa (Arabic; Jesus in the Qur'an) was born with out a father and was able to perform mircles (not of his own but through Allah's power). What I don't believe is that he came to die for our sins. With G*D being the All powerful creator what pervents him from forgiving us of our sins without blood. The majority of christians have no clue in what the bible really says and their theology is base on the pulpt as oppose to their own text. As a former christian I believe that the Isa that the Muslims Believe in can be found throughout the bible. throughout the bible Jesus shys away from thew worship of the people due to his gifts, but constantly calls towards the worship of the father and says that those who follow the commandments of the Father become the children of G*D.

Behold the light and the light is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus's birth is what Christmas is all about but, in celebration let us not forget family, for they both allow us to shine.

FUNNY HOW THIS HOLIDAY WAS TOTALLY MADE UP AND TURNED INTO A MONEY MACHINE FOR THE LARGE CORPORATIONS, BUT THESE CORPORATIONS HAVE THE BEST PSYCHOLOGIST WORKING FOR THEM TO FILL THEM IN ON ALL OF THE CRAFTY WAS TO PLAY ON OUR EMOTIONS...THIS IS WHY THEY USE RELIGION...ALTHOUGH A TREE WITH LIGHTS, GIFTS, ETC. HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BIRTH OF CHRIST, NEITHER DOES ST. NICK AND SANTA CLAUSE OR HIS 12 REINDEER AND ELVES IN NORTH POLE..WASN'T JESUS ON ANOTHER CONTINENT? BUT WHEN A TRUE HOLIDAY WAS CREATED, LIKE KWANZAA, EVERYONE SAID THIS WAS PAGAN AND JUST A MADE UP DAY...WAKE UP PEOPLE, ALL OF THEM WERE MADE UP, LOL! JUST LIKE EASTER BUNNIES, CHOCOLATE VALENTINE'S, HANDING OUT CANDY IN COSTUMES, ETC. THERE COULDN'T BE ONE MORE HONEST TO IT'S INTEND THAN KWANZAA AND THIS ONE IS TOTALLY ABOUT BRINGING THE FAMILY TOGETHER, AND NOT JUST FOR ONE DAY AND AMOUNTING TO A HUGE CREDIT CARD BILL!!
