Especially during the Summer months when many of our children forget the skills and concepts they learned throughout the school year. Visit your State's Department of Education website and get tips on getting your child a head start to prepare him/her for the next grade level. For instance, if your child is entering the 3rd grade, help him/her learn multiplication facts. Most schools aren't doing drills anymore, so do them now. Focus on two facts a week. To READ to students and teach them that reading is the key that unlocks the door to wonderment. Join our first "READ OUT LOUD" at Richmond Town Square in May 13th - 15th.
