Collectively, WE WILL create self empowering resources that will eliminates our dependence on: Banks, Insurance companies, Healthcare, corporations, drug companies, unhealthy food industry, the media and the government! Financial Options.
I have been self employed for 12 years and I would never consider depending solely on an employer or the government. Regardless, if you have a job or not, everyone should have a source of income that can be easily accessed. We should all have a small business. Visit: http://e-bizs.com and start an eJob.
1. Stop depending on banks. Begin to live off of cash only. I recommend you have one or two free savings accounts only. Use debit cards for car rentals. I also recommend pre paid cards when buying online. I recommend Wal-Mart pre paid visa.
2. Stop depending on loans. If you want to buy a car, only buy with cash. Want to buy a home... there are tons of alternative ways to buy a home without loans, credit and without cash.
3. Only buy items that are 30% to 70% below market price. Never buy anything that is full price. I recommend Craigslist.com or Backpage.com for great deals.
4. Forget keeping up with the Jones and start investing in assets the increase in value. (Art, property, stock, etc.) Do your home work.

Now, this is what defines "revolution." Collective economics have saved people who have been in America a far shorter period of time than black people. Other groups seem to "get it", and many that I talk to wonder when black people will do what we've seen others do to free themselves.
