Permalink Reply by TohioAst on October 9, 2011 at 5:39pm Many of the priests composing Christian sects during the time frame mentioned were of Egyptian origin, and thus influenced by Egyptian thought. In addition, the ancient Egyptians did not have a "religion" per se, instead, they developed a 'unified philosophy' that was based upon the natural evolution of the consciousness of mankind. However, this philosophy was the result of a conflict that existed within Egypt from the 6th through the 18th Dynasty between the Lunar and Solar cults, and that was philosophically resolved in the 22nd Dynasty . . . which led to a "Universal Religion", so to speak. Although the Emperor Constantine was the principle force behind the Council of Nicea, priests trained in Egyptian philosophy were present, which is why the "Holy Bible" is a coded literary work! Many of the derogatory references to Egypt developed as Christianity solidified into the State Religion of Europe from the Council of Nicea onto the present. Just a thought . . .
