Hi Kelvin, honestly, I don't know the answer for sure but I definitely have a strong opinion. One of the council's purposes was to rule on what religion, "god", and religious literature would be used to force all their conquered nations to worship; thereby making the conquered easier to control by unifying their varied pagan beliefs into one. That being said, we now know the Bible we read today is the literature they selected along with Jesus as the winner amongst all the other pagan options available at the time to worship. So from there you can see why the Egyptians weren't invited when you read how the Bible starts off... with the Egyptians being painted as diabolical slave owners which even God found deserving of being cursed with the most devastating plagues and completely demolishing their army. A story like that also helped to deflect the murdering, pillaging and suppression that they themselves had done to the nations they now ruled over. So now Egypt, the council's only real threat as rulers, now how a unified empire viewing them in this diabolical way. Very effective in cutting someone off before they can even make a pass. Everything is turned on it's head with how Egypt is depicted by non-Egyptian rulers. That's my deduction based on what I've studied. What do you think? You seem to know enough about the Council of Nicaea to know the Egyptians weren't invited.
From my understanding that the concept of the religion came from the Egypt. So who better, then the Egyptains, telling the stroy.I see it as the frist world order
When an enemy steals your pertinent information and passes it on infiltrated with lies and deceptions, they definitely don't want you around to witness it and potentially cause an upheaval!

The best way to deceive someone is to slip in a falsity cloaked by the truth. That is exactly what I believe happened based on the historical facts on the Council.

I would have to agree with your opinion of it being the first world order... after this many centuries, the work they laid out is still going strong and still killing lives in it's name. Whether it was the Christian Crusades or the Witch Hunts that lasted for years, killing in the name of the God created by the Council of Nicaea still goes on today. Just look at what our Christian president Bush had to say about justifying the invasion and murder of Iraqis and our own soldiers in the process... "God is on our side!"

Here is an article referencing killing in the name of their God... it was even titled, "Donald Rumsfeld's holy war: How President Bush's Iraq briefings came with quotes from the Bible"

Enough said for me! The Council of Nicaea knew what they were doing and ancient Egyptians today are still seen as diabolical idol worshipers; making their wisdom and knowledge forever lost or seen as entertaining tales to all except seekers of Understanding.
Tell it sista!

Many of the priests composing Christian sects during the time frame mentioned were of Egyptian origin, and thus influenced by Egyptian thought. In addition, the ancient Egyptians did not have a "religion" per se, instead, they developed a 'unified philosophy' that was based upon the natural evolution of the consciousness of mankind. However, this philosophy was the result of a conflict that existed within Egypt from the 6th through the 18th Dynasty between the Lunar and Solar cults, and that was philosophically resolved in the 22nd Dynasty . . . which led to a "Universal Religion", so to speak. Although the Emperor Constantine was the principle force behind the Council of Nicea, priests trained in Egyptian philosophy were present, which is why the "Holy Bible" is a coded literary work! Many of the derogatory references to Egypt developed as Christianity solidified into the State Religion of Europe from the Council of Nicea onto the present. Just a thought . . .
