墙之前将要敲的墙的面积量好，要知道敲墙可是按面积算银子的。 　　泥水工主要负责砌墙、批灰、零 星修补、贴瓷砖、做防水、地面找平、装地 漏。砌墙和批灰都要用到水泥砂浆，区别只是在于比例不同而已。砌墙、批灰是泥 水工的前期作，做完这两项后，泥水工会自己先量好砌墙、批灰的实际面积，然后 他会和业主复量这些尺寸的。另外，贴瓷砖最好由一个人来贴，如果由两个人来做 的话，因其风格不一样有可能贴出来的效果会有差别的。瓷砖填缝最好用填缝料， 我家用白水泥的部分有的已经了黄了。泥水工部分要注意：装修应用河沙。 　　泥水工砌墙墙之后批灰之前，水电工同时进场进行水电改造。水电改造的主要 工作有水电定位、打槽、埋管、穿线。其中打槽虽然是不重要，可它间接影响后面 埋管与穿线的质量。 水电改造的第一步是水电定位，也就是根据你的需要定出 子里的接原下水管的管子最好和原下水管匹配。　　　电路改造中，应注意事先要想好全屋的灯具装在什么地方， 以便确定开关插座的位 置，同时要注意新埋线和换线的价格是不一样的。买门铃时最好买无线门铃。水电 改造的主要工作有打槽、埋管、穿线。其中打槽虽然是不重要，可它间接影响后面 埋管与穿线的质量。 水电改造完成后木工进场，做木工要注意：1、 拿到设计师的图纸时，最好自 已在签字前仔细地复核一下尺寸。2、木工的工具箱、工作台、空气压缩机等工具 的所有权是装修队长或是装修公司的。3、木工进场前，板材先进场，仔细看一下 进场的板子是否与合同 　　相符，是否正品。记得让白蚁公司来防白蚁。 　　和水电工一样，木工也是装修队利润的来源大头。装修中的甲醛来源大头。要 控制这一点，除了板子是要符合国家环保规定外，用的木器清漆也要选好。这一点 我会在后面提到的。 油漆工进场要在泥水工批完灰墙面干透之后进场批腻子，也就是进度表中所说 的油漆第一阶段，如有装石膏线的，也同时在这个时候装，装石膏线是油漆工的 事，记得批腻子一定不要用107，据我的楼上邻居讲，107会慢慢释放出一种什么对 人体有害的气体，所以现在已经被108取代了。 　　装修刷漆如果是一底两面，那么必需用砂纸打磨三次，第一次打磨是在批完腻 子开始刷第一遍底漆前，务必用砂纸将批完腻子且已经干透的墙面打磨一遍，第一 遍墙面可以用标号低一点的砂纸打磨，如360＃；第二次打磨是在刷完底漆且干透 刷第一遍面漆之前，这时用的砂纸最好是比第一遍打磨的砂纸高一些，如 400＃以 上的砂纸；第三遍是在刷完第一遍面漆且干透刷第二遍面漆之前，这时务必用高标 号的砂纸打磨墙面，最好用600＃或以上的砂纸打磨墙面，只有这样才可以保证墙 面的涂刷效果。否则的话，你的墙面涂刷完之后，十有八九会出现摸上去象面粉的 那种手感。 　　还要说的一个问题是油漆加水的问题，每一种油漆对加水比例都有一定限制， 应注意要严按按施工说明施工。 　　92. 烟道的阀门装回去之前，一定要擦干净，保证阀片能够开关自如并能开 到最大，否则会影响油烟机的排烟效果。可以在装吊顶时留两条不装，等油烟机安 装完并试用无误后再把吊顶装好。 　　93. 在客厅和餐厅这么大的空间，吊顶能不做就不做。 　　94. 走线时要想好空调位，将电源尽量移近空调，免得装空调时看到一截电 源线，留下一丝遗憾。 　　95. 亲自量度并记录房屋内可供使用的各个尺寸，可将楼书户型图上尺寸遮 盖然后重新引线标注，最终的尺寸将直接影响装修设计和家具的购买。 　　96. 线不好的小户型如果选黑胡桃总是不够大气，这时需要有取舍，或是迁 就实际或是执着自己的想法，当然最好两者兼顾 　　97. 开始寻找装修人员。就个人经验而论，如果不是特别大户型并且打算简 单装修，似乎找游击队更合算些。最好是别人装过后介绍，你自己也去亲眼看过并 认同，特别对装修负责人的感觉更是重要，责任心和欣赏水平怎么样，前者更关键 些，因为如果只是简装，其实那些活差不多在外面混的都会做，然而质量的好坏可 就视乎责任心了。 　　98. 主要家具如沙发、衣柜、餐桌椅、橱柜等最好也提前多看看，若四处乱 跑就太累了，可以找几个购物环境好的大型家居广场逛逛，基本趋势就看出来了， 所以接下来你要做的就是根据自己预想的风格慢慢筛选出合适的东西。有些人对款 式把握较好，有些人则对颜色把握得准，没关系，反正还有时间考虑，如果等到装 修清场，虚位以待的步骤再去看家具难免最后会勉强接受而不是非常喜欢。 　　99. 对已经看好的家具最好把尺寸记下来，然后到房里虚拟将来的摆设情况。 　　100. 购买东西时必要的单据一定要保存好，此举对后期可能存在的退、换货 情况绝对有益。特别是一些重要物品的购物小票、说明书等，因为好多东西是有保 修期的，凭证丢了会比较麻烦。 　　装修注意事项101－200条 　　101. 施工过程中的增减项目都一定要把价格问清然后白纸黑字写出来。 　　102. 检查是否有必要的施工保护措施，比如入户门要用珍珠棉包起来，铺贴 好的窗台和地面也要适当保护。 　　103. 尽可能多与施工人员沟通，确定他是否明白你的意图。设身处地尊重每 一位师傅的工作，尊重他，令人家感觉到自己的重要性，那么干起活来是否更负责 一些呢？有句老话不是叫“用人不疑”吗？（但如果你面对的是*诈狡猾欺软怕硬之 徒，那就要以牙还牙，据理力争）特别到一些边缘工程，就是需要几个工种配合 的，负责任的工人会互相协调好各司其职，否则就大家来回踢皮球，都推卸责任。 象我的泥工就帮我解决了一些木工的事情，而电工又解决了一些泥工的问题。因为 每个师傅的经验不同，只要他肯帮你想办法。 　　104. 做家私最好不要做固定的，因为这样可能有些布局就不能再变化了。如 果一定要做就必须把握质量，否则后患无穷。 　　105. 改水管千万要慎重，一是费钱；二来如果不吊顶就必须从地板下走水 管，万一水管出问题就麻烦大了。 　　106. 根据自己的实际需要合理安排布线，以免浪费（特别是布很多灯带和射 灯好象不太实用，一定要用也尽量避免串联，废电），但是有的地方就不能省，比 方浴室镜旁，要经常用风筒和剃须刀；还有如果在鞋柜里面或下面有个插座也不 错，可以用烘鞋器，我现在就挺后悔没有布这根线。 　　107. 卫生间尽量干湿分区，如果面积小用柱盆就好（玻璃台盆特显脏，懒人 慎用）；有条件设置一个防水的小柜子收纳杂物最好，什么都摆在外面肯定不好看。 　　108. 木器刷光面白漆时聚酯的比硝基的好（这是听经验老道的油漆工讲的）。 　　109. 橱柜一定要认真选择，要多比较几家的质量，做的稳固结实才好，因为 这一项现在动辄好几千大洋，并且又关系到灶具水槽等，所以还是不要一味贪便宜 的好。但最好不要在橱柜台面或里面做垃圾桶；还有就是如果资金有限，拉篮、调 味篮、米桶什么的统统可以不要，这些配件在橱柜公司普遍卖得很贵。 　　110. 衣柜宁多勿少、宁大勿小，女性切记！垂挂空间要能放下最长的衣裙。 　　111. 玻璃或镜子等不好搬运的东西最好在附近购买，或者先想好运输方法。 　　112. 窗帘最好在家具家电全进场后再订做，以搭配整体风格色调。但保洁前 可以把轨道装好。 　　113. 燃气改管最好在贴瓷砖之前完成，不然有可能会破坏墙面。最好让燃气 公司画个图或在墙上作标志，因为橱柜公司需根据要求在柜身开孔。 　　114. 橱柜安装时间较长，少则4~5小时，多则2天，要有心理准备。安装时可 检查所用材料是否是你订的那种（通过铰链孔可看到柜体材料）。橱柜安装前把厨 房先清洁一下，因为柜子一旦装好，那些死角都没办法再打扫了。 　　115. 家私安装时最好在旁边看着，特别象衣柜的层板都是有好几个孔位选择 的，我那时没有看着，结果层板之间的距离偏小了，挂衣服伸展不开，以后还要调整。 　　116. 考虑到甲醛对环境的污染，在房里可放置吊兰等绿色植物，家私的柜门 全部打开散发气味，也可买专门消除气味的东西来喷。 　　117. 安装燃气报警器，预约燃气点火。 　　118. 刷木器漆的时间: 最好等房间铺完地砖或木地板再刷。如果一定要刷 的话，最好也要将房间打扫干净。没铺地砖或木地板的房间，房间里的粉尘很多， 这时刷木器漆的话，粉尘容易附着在刷过木器漆的木制品表面，摸上去有刺刺的感 觉，这种情况虽然可用较高标号的砂纸打磨后再刷一遍解决，但是最后刷出来摸上 去的手感与整体效果就会打点打扣。房间铺完地砖后再刷，那时空气里的粉尘含量 比之铺前少很多，基本不会出现刷过一遍木器漆后粉尘附着在木制品表面的情况。 之所以这么说，是因为小吴家装修时就碰上这种情况，本来我在决定买的喜加木器 漆之前见过它刷出的效果的，手感很光滑，摸上去就如同我家装的豪利木门一样。 只是因为上述情况，结果效果打了不少折扣，这一直是小吴的遗憾事。而且我在组 织喜加漆团购的过程中，亦有同学家出现了这种情况。所以在这里提醒各位同学注 意一下。我不知其它的木器漆是否有这种情况，但根据同理可证的原则，所以在这 里提醒各位同学注意一下。 　　119. 关于补漆： 油漆师付是等墙面干透再批完腻子的，腻子层干透后刷 漆。刷完漆之后如果没什么原因就要装灯具和各种电器开关了。请同学们提醒装灯 具与电器开关的师付注意一下，装之前将手冼干净，这样装的时候就不会弄污墙面 了。也就省了一道补漆的工序了。当然，弄污了墙面，装修队肯定是要让油漆师付 再来补漆的，也就是将弄污的墙面弄干净(如果是油漆公司的话，他们也会让师付 来补漆的，如果注意一下很多油漆师付在刷完墙面后都会剩一部分漆，这剩余的一 部分漆是用来补漆用的)。 只是注意一下，不要让装灯具的师付弄污了墙面， 就可以让让油漆师付少跑一趟(至少也要半天)，我们自己也方便不少，又何乐而不 为呢？有时候，与人方便，也与已方便。一般来说，在刷墙面漆之前都会将木器漆 刷完，这样做是避免木器漆在干的过程中会对刷过墙面漆的墙面有影响。当然，在 实际操作过程中，也可以将地砖铺完之后 (铺地砖之前已 将墙面的腻子批好)再刷 木器漆，等木器漆干透之后再刷墙面漆，只是这样做，当然会影响工期。如果怕影 响工期的话，又要将空气中粉尘的影响降到最小，那就要勤快点多多打扫一下房间 里的卫生了。 　　120. 装修队伍的选择： 　　至于先择游击队还是正规公司，我觉得并不重要，关键是给你的施工队的头是认真 负责，装修的工人的技术，当然还有装修的质量和价格。　首先，找装修公司不 要超过四家，对大部分来说是这样，如果你的时间很富裕，那就另当别论了。　　　和装修公司谈这前，一定要清 楚你要做那些装修项目，可以先请装修公司报所有的 项目，对比一下价格和综合考虑到到各种因素后再接下来你再决定有哪些项要外 包，哪些项要装修公司做。　　　对装修的人来说，装修的报价越低越好，当然，装修公司的意见正 相反。有时， 装修公司为了拉生意，会将有些报价压得比较低，这样一来，工程的质量与用料的 质量就比较难以保证。装修那么多项，你想项项都是最低价，那是不现实的。而且 装修中的报价，不能只看数字，更要看里面的内容，这一项目所用的材料，规格， 品牌等。要知道，装修中的每一项报价，其实都是大有讲究的。 　　121. 施工？由于我并不急于入住，因此计划找散工：邻居们家中请的好匠 果一是最后预算超支太多，二是先买的东西价美质优，而后买的东西则参差不齐。

My friend is going to be playing using the refer a friend program and we want to take advantage of the triple XP from grouping together. There will be times where one of us might not be on to play and we don't want to separate in level. I've seen people control 4 characters simultaneously. I even reported the 4 gnome warlocks who destroyed me haha, only to find out that the software to do such a thing is perfectly legal according to the GM I spoke to. I have a high end PC so running two instances of WoW shouldn't be an issue. I don't even really want to control both characters at the same time, meaning I don't plan them to be the same class spaming the same skill to do twice as much damage or whatever. I mainly just want the characters to move the same way, be able to pick up quests, etc so they both level together. Hey,

My family has two computers (A laptop and a desktop), and the desktop is very, very, very x10 slow. Basically, it turns on fine and the welcome screen shows fine and fast. But once you click on a name to login it takes FOREVER. The desktop shows quickly, but the applications and stuff take a long time to load, and it even freezes sometimes if you right click or click the start menu or something similar. The computer doesn't so much lag when there's a lot of programs open either, it just lags in general, even if only 1 application is open (Not counting those in the system tray).

I've tried doing things to speed up the computer (Like the stuff you'd find in the topic a few down from this), and it doesn't really make much of a difference. Here's the computer's specs (That I could find):

* Windows XP Home SP2 (2002 Edition)
* Intel Pentium 4 CPU (2.20GHz)
* 512 MB Physical RAM (112 MB Available??)
* 2 GB Virtual Memory (1.96 GB Available)
* 150 GB Samsung SP1604N Hard Drive


We've still got like 100 GB left on the hard drive, so that's no issue. I frequently do disk clean up, defrags, virus scans, etc. I've basically determined that the antivirus (Norton) is (I think) causing the slowness, but the problem is I don't want to remove it...

So what I want to know, any ideas how I could speed this thing up? Money is tight, so we can't really buy an new computer. Would installing more physical RAM help (And is installing RAM something I could do - I'm pretty good with computers, but I've never installed internal hardware)? Or is it the CPU? Or something else?
